Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: October 21, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the rules and guidelines for utilizing Kiteum's infrastructure. By using our platform, you agree to adhere strictly to these rules. Our goal is to maintain a secure, high-performance, and reliable environment for all developers on our network.
01.No Illegal or Harmful Content
You may not use Kiteum to host, store, or distribute any content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise harmful. This includes, but is not limited to, distributing malware, engaging in phishing campaigns, hosting child exploitation material, or facilitating the sale of illegal goods and services.
02.Infrastructure & Network Abuse
You are strictly prohibited from using our servers to degrade the performance of the Kiteum platform or other networks. Activities such as cryptocurrency mining, participating in Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, network scanning, or unauthorized load testing are explicitly forbidden and will result in immediate account termination.
03.AI Agent Restrictions
When deploying autonomous AI agents on Kiteum, you must ensure their actions comply with all applicable laws and API terms of service. You may not deploy agents designed to execute spam campaigns, conduct unauthorized web scraping, bypass CAPTCHAs, or engage in malicious social engineering or impersonation.
04.Fair Use & Resource Quotas
Kiteum provides burstable compute resources and generous bandwidth limits. You agree not to maliciously circumvent platform quotas, create multiple free accounts to evade limits, or exploit the platform to consume an unreasonable amount of shared edge resources. Consistent violations of fair use may require an upgrade to a dedicated Enterprise tier.
05.Intellectual Property Violations
You may not use the Services to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. This includes unauthorized hosting of copyrighted material, pirated software, or proprietary assets belonging to third parties. We comply with valid DMCA takedown notices and reserve the right to remove infringing content.
06.Enforcement and Penalties
Kiteum reserves the sole right to determine whether a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy has occurred. We may suspend or terminate your deployments, databases, and account immediately—without prior notice or refund—if we identify prohibited activities. We may also report unlawful activities to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
07.Reporting Violations
If you believe a Kiteum user is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, engaging in phishing, or infringing upon your rights, please report it immediately by contacting our abuse team at support@kiteum.com. We investigate all reports promptly.
