Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 21, 2026
At Kiteum, we take your privacy and the security of your code seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data and technical infrastructure when you use our platform and services.
01.Information We Collect
When you use Kiteum, we collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, and payment information when you create an account. We also collect data automatically when you connect third-party services (like GitHub or Google) and telemetry data regarding your deployments, application performance, and resource usage.
02.How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to operate, maintain, and provide the features of the Services. This includes provisioning infrastructure, billing, authenticating your access, and delivering real-time logs and telemetry. We may also use your email address to send non-promotional, service-related notices, such as security and infrastructure updates.
03.Code & Data Security
The source code, databases, and environment variables you deploy on Kiteum are strictly confidential. We encrypt your environment variables at rest and in transit. Kiteum personnel will never access your private source code or database records unless explicitly requested by you for technical support purposes.
04.Third-Party Integrations
Kiteum integrates with third-party platforms like GitHub (for CI/CD pipelines) and Stripe (for payment processing). We only request the minimum necessary permissions required to operate the Services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, nor do we share your private repository data with external advertising platforms.
05.AI Agents & Telemetry
If you utilize our AI Agent orchestration features, telemetry regarding agent execution, tool calling, and latency is collected to ensure platform stability. Any contextual memory stored via our managed pgvector databases remains under your ownership and is isolated within your project's Virtual Private Cloud (VPC).
06.Cookies and Tracking
Kiteum uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged into the dashboard and to secure your sessions. We may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand platform usage and improve the developer experience. We do not use intrusive cross-site tracking cookies.
07.Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information and deployment data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (including databases, logs, and containers) at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon deletion, your data is irreversibly wiped from our active servers.
08.Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. If you wish to exercise these rights or request an export of your account data, please contact our support team. We aim to process all data requests within 30 days.
09.Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your data, please reach out to us at support@kiteum.com.
